So, I’m not to happy with what he has chosen for his music video for “All of the Lights.” of his latest album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. As my personal favorite single to come from the album I was crossing my fingers for a nice little video that enhanced the storyline from Runaway. But, I understand that creative juices will flow, and attacking a different visual for the song would be enticing. However the end product was something less than to be desired. It looks like Mr. Hype, Yeezy’s go-to director, was looking to meld Justice’s Dvno music video with the beginning of a PSA and an epileptic attack. And what’s with the branding? I saw the Tyler-Durden-type plugs flash for a second for the record label, I’m not stupid! Might as well through McDonalds and Walmart in there and get a few extra bucks, no one would realize it because the are too busy trying to process the flashing and overcome by Rhianna’s boobie halter. I expected a lot more from this… try again.
